About the Show

Work Drama is the podcast where workplace stories finally get said out loud.

Hosted by Lizbeth, who left the medical field for remote work and realized she didn’t miss the commute, but definitely missed the drama, and her best friend Sharon, still in the trenches and ready to say what everyone’s thinking. With occasional guest appearances.

Every 2 weeks, they break down anonymized stories from offices, hospitals, and everywhere in between mixing logic, real-world perspective, and unfiltered group chat energy.

Some stories are chaotic. Some are uncomfortable. All of them are real.

Names changed. Jobs protected. Opinions included.

Got a story? You might be our next work bestie of the day. Send your stories into [email protected]

Also, do us a solid and follow us on Tiktok @Work_Drama_

(Note your story as “NOT ANONYMIZED”, we’ll take care of the rest!)

Work Drama is recorded and produced at Idea Forge Studios at Project Imo in Willimantic, CT.

Meet our Hosts

Lizbeth Marquez

Lizbeth Marquez is the host of Work Drama, bringing a unique mix of real-world experience, sharp observation, and grounded perspective to every story. With over 20 years in healthcare, including time as a medical assistant across fast-paced clinical environments. Lizbeth built her career navigating high-pressure situations, complex personalities, and the kind of workplace dynamics you don’t learn in a textbook. After transitioning out of the medical field into remote work, she realized something unexpected: while she didn’t miss the long hours or the commute, she did miss the conversations; the unspoken stories, the different perspectives, and the moments that made you stop and think, “wait… did that really just happen?” That realization became Work Drama - a space where those stories live on. Known for her thoughtful, balanced approach, Lizbeth brings context and clarity to each story, asking the questions others might overlook while keeping the conversation relatable and real. Because no matter where you work, office, hospital, remote, or somewhere in between, there’s always a story. And here, you don’t have to keep it to yourself.
